Wally World WOW Moment
The other day after leaving my doc's office I was on cloud nine! According to his scales I was down 93 pounds and not quite 4 months post-op, so I went to Wally World to celebrate! I was/am in desperate need of new bras and didn't want to spend a lot of money on them just to probably need new ones a few months down the road. So I find a cute red one and and a pink one (I'm a odd size now and if I find the size I buy if even if I don't care for the color.) Well since I still had more money to burn so I went looking at the clothes in the "woman's world" section. I didn't see anything I liked so I went over to the "regular" section to see if I could find a cute cheap top for my mom....well I FOUND A CUTE CHEAP TOP FOR ME INSTEAD!!!!
I couldn't believe it. Granted it was the largest size they had in the section (size 20) but I couldn't get over the fact that the starting size of the section size 4/6! So I bought the top, drove over to my sisters house around the corner and I was stripin' in her kitchen to see if my new top would fit! It was a great fit - in fact I kept trying it on that I got deodorant all over the front of it. Later on my way home I stopped by another Wally World and bought me a pair of shorts and jeans both size 20 in the regular people section!
Hard for me to believe that just only 4 months ago I was wearing some clothes size 30/32's but mainly 26/28's and last month when I finally broke down and went shopping the clothes I bought were sizes 24's and 22's if they were stretch jeans and now they are too big (well the 24's are falling off even with a belt!)
Amazing what my new best friend Mr. RNY can help me do:
1. Take less medication
2. Feel better
3. Find out the cause of my chronic health issues - so I can go back to work (still working on this one)
4. Exercise longer w/o feeling out of breath/so tired quickly
5. Buy smaller size clothes!!!
So, my OH brothers and sisters, what about you, what has your new friend Mr./Mrs. RNY (or other surgery) done for you lately???? Make a list!!!

I am not quite as far out as you. However, you are doing great. Is this all post-surgery weight loss or did you lose a little before?
I am not spending any money on clothes at Wally World but I did have to break down and buy two new bras there.. one for going places and a sports bra to work out in.. I am buying all my clothes at thrift stores.. I find some really cute things.. I walked out the other day with a huge bag of clothes for summer and I only spent $15... 3 of the items still had tags on them.
I love your list of accomplishments.. taking less meds was my big goal too..
I am proud to say I am off all diabetes meds
Off 2 out of three blood pressure meds.. and that one is only 5mg..
I do not have to take any cholesterol meds any more
I can walk 3 miles at a time instead of 20 feet..
I am down from a size 5x to a large..
I am exercising more than I ever have in my lifetime and loving it.
I am driving now after not being able to fit behind the steering wheel for years..
well there are just too many to list of things that I can do now that I couldn't
To buy smaller clothes and be healthier and be able to exercise and do a lot of things you couldn't do is a great accomplishment.. I bet you do feel better.. I know I do.. I am so proud of you.. Keep up the hard work.. you are doing great..
huggs...

and oh....I CAN WEAR HEELS!!!!!!
I have a red leather trench coat and i love it

Going on the plane tomorrow and can't wait to see what it's like to sit in the seat now
I can sit in the movie theatre with both of the arm rests down
Being able to for once in my life do portion control and feel good about the food choice i make
I'm no longer a slave to food!
Ok that's enough...there are so many other things, it's just incredible. I still have almost 100 lb to lose for my first goal and then who knows how much more i will try to do...but even with being so far away from goal, my life has already been given back to me. I'm eternally grateful!!!!
