Still having chaffing probs today   ... will focus on resistence training.

Sorry about the chaffing.. I have been there and done that and it is not fun.. I have been lucky so far to not have that problem ..YET...    I am getting rash under panni as the weather is warming up and I am doing more exercises.. the recumbent bikes are the worse for that because sitting and working out does not let any air circulation there as I sweat....

I am doing exercises like a fiend trying to break this stall... if I split it up during the day it is not so bad.. the walking this morning had my toes all in a cramp.. so I am not going to the gym until a little later today.. and the rash is why the lower times on the recumbents.. I sweat the worse on the bike so 10 minutes will be my limit today..  the pool is what I chose to do last because it helps the muscles relax and not be so sore..

I need to buy stock in Ben Gay.. $$$... applying every night.. lol...

I try to do some resistant training at the gym too but I usually don't think to list it on here.. sometimes the machines are crowded and there is lines waiting for them.. the guys use them and stay on for long periods of time.. I like to go in the daytime since most people are at work and it is not so crowded..

Hun you just do what you can.. chaffing will never heal if you try to workout with it.. I use zesorb powder on my legs and under panni and it helps tremendously.. it will prevent and heal too.. I get it at Walmart .. but word of warning.. it is pricey.. but I think worth it..

till tomorrow...

huggs..

Chaffing is a constant struggle for me as well. I have found a system that works for me. I blow dry all of my problem areas very well after my shower and apply a medicated powder, I use cheap $1 stuff from dollar general or the pharmacy. If I do these 2 things I avoid the chaff. In the past when I have had it really bad, I have used desenex (for athletes foot) burns like the devil but it dries it up over night.
Good luck! Hope you get it cleared up.

Thanks, gals.  Mine was the result of wearing a skirt and nylons for the first time in many, many years.  I think now that my skin is getting more loose and wrinkly it makes it even harder for it to stay dry.  Bleh.  Next time I'll wear shorts under my skirt! LOL
