No More Woman Within or Roamans for Me!

In the spirit of of Patti's swearing off of Lane Bryant, I want to publicly announce my liberation from those hateful catalogs that seem to come in the mail almost every day.  I can because I was just able to buy a shirt from Wal-Mart that cost less than any of the WW/Roamans stuff and is better quality.   
    Roamans had its place when I needed size 4x stretch capris.  And I still buy my jeans from Catherines.  But now I think I can shop in the Plus department of the regular stores for the most part.

Anyone else one want to burn their incessant catalogs and join the revolution?

Me Me Me!!!  Now that I can comfortably wear 2x's that I can find at Kohl's and other stores, I'm SO done with those cataloges.  I will say that my history with Catherines was very positive - overpriced, but positive.  Great customer service in person and I always found great work clothes in 4 and 5x's when needed.  But now I can buy a work blouse for $20 instead of $49, so goodbye Catherines! 

I may keep my Just My Size catalog though, as they have some great workout gear in them.  I may switch to Junonia for active wear though... JMS isn't the greatest quality.  Anyone have experiences with Junonia? 

I bought a two piece bathing suit from Junonia a couple of years ago (not a bikini -- the horror, the horror!). it's great because you can order a smaller top and a larger bottom.

Their stuff looks nice, but the prices !!

You know, now that you said this, I haven't gotten a catalog from either one of them in a while. I used to get three a week from each of them.

There is hope -- they will take you off the mailing list if you don't buy anything from them for a while.

I have asked them to stop sending the catalogs - it was too much!

I am buying 2x and 3x in regular stores (most recently, Herbergers) and I LOVE it!!!!!!

I'm glad they were there for me when I needed it - i did almost all online and catalog shopping, but thank goodness I won't need it much.  I bought a lot from Making It Big and I thank God they were there, but won't miss the spendy items I had to buy there to cover my 400 pounds!!!!

Woohoo...me too...I get all 3 of those now.....cancelled!

What a great thing to look forward to!  Roamans, Woman Within, and Catherines are were I mostly shop now.  I can sometimes get blouse other places, but I have to search for ones that are long enough and can never find pants or skirts anywhere else.  I look forward to the day I can celebrate this achievement with you all!
