250.2 a couple of days ago. Now 252ish.

Doncha know it -- my body had to bounce back when I got down to 0.2 pounds away from 249.

249 is what I weighed when I did my big weight loss thing in college. 9 more after that and I will match my driver's license.

Uggghh. Why? Why?

Hope you all have very wonderful, active weekends!!

Patti..  I am sorry that happened...I know that is so frustrating.. .

You will be there before you know it.. maybe even by Mondays weigh in.. if not that is ok.. it will get here.. don't let it get you discouraged... just keep at it.. you are doing so so good...

I think that is funny that your weight after loosing 9 more lbs will finally match your drivers license.. ROFLMAO.

I got to 203 (100lbs off) on March 1st and after Depo shot  on March 2nd I went up to 208 on March 3rd. I was so unhappy..and  I was only 4 lbs away from Onderland.. aaarrrgggg...well finally today.. I got back to the 203 mark.. whoo hoo.. I was getting so discouraged and I had a hard time sticking it out without cheating.. but I made it and now I am glad I didn't cheat and stuck to what I needed to do.. .. I wanted to be at 100lbs off on my birthday(24th) and as far as I am concerned I made it (204) because it was water weight not fat weight .. but even water can make you just want to scream and rant...   I had other times I have put on a few and they disappear in a few days so I don't get too upset about the fluctuation but this was a long time to have to wait to get back where I was..

As far as why our bodies do what they do who knows..   but I know it is frustrating to see the scale move in the wrong direction no matter what we do.. I have been working out like a fiend  and getting no where this past month .. then finally the weigh in last Monday was down to 204.. yippee.. now as of today I am even steven again at 203.. but I still am 4 lbs from Onderland.. so now that is my next goal... who knows you may have the 9 lbs off before I get the 4 off.. we never know what out bodies will do or what the scale   will read..

Just hang in there and keep on track.. it will even out and you will be on your way again..

You have a great weekend and stay off that scale.. don't weigh again until Monday.. stay positive and keep up the good work..

huggs...

Oh my, Patti!  I think you need to get this little guy out and write a letter to Mr. Scale, telling him that YOU will show him who's in charge!

250.2 is your real weight.  The higher number is water weight.  You haven't eaten the over 6000 calories needed to gain 2 pounds of fat.  Keep up the good work.  Loris

Thanks Ladies!!

For me, today is drink like a fish day. And I'm gonna go for a walk. I have to do some yardwork, or I'm gonna need a machete to get to my garage from the house in a couple of weeks.

Activity, activity, activity. Water, water, water. You can't ever really get away from walk, walk, walk, sip, sip, sip -- can you?

It will be hard, but I'll try to stay off the scale until Monday morning.

The scale is our enemy!

These days I am staying away from it as much as possible because it plays with my head.

Since I work at home over the internet I can get away with saving some money and I only buy every other size in pants.  Right now the 3x jeans I am wearing just about fall off when I stand up but the scale has only show about 5 pounds lost the last month (I know I am happy about it, it just aint coming off fast like it used to).  But my 1x jeans, last month would not pass my knees and yesterday I almost got them completely on.  I swear I don't know what my excess fat is doing.  It has a mind of its own!

but any way my point is, I often see evidence that I must be losing weight but the scale does not show it.  So these days I just trust in the process and silently think "Go to H*** scale!".

That scale will give one of these days for you if it knows what is good for it.

I know lots of people bag on the scale, but I love data and that's what it gives me. I have been weighing myself daily for as long as I can remember (only now I write it down) it helps me to see what my body is doing.

I know that when I go up and down the same few pounds that it's due to water retention and not actual fat so hang in there Patti the scale will drop cuz you're doing the right thing!

Well first congrats on all your loss!  That is awesome!  I have learned week to week, that my weight fluctuates, I worked my tail off last week but only lost 2 lbs, the week before I lost 7.  don't know why I didn't change a thing.  lol
