I have surgery tomorrow.....first one of the day....I'm excited....but so nervous.....It's kind of surreal....I feel like I'm watching this happen, but it's not me.....I guess it's because I've been thinking about it happening, researching the surgeries, doing labwork, etc.....it's just kind of hard to believe that it's finally here.

My experience was pretty surreal. I couldn't freak out until the day before.

Welcome to the loser's bench! Good wishes for a speedy trip back home and out of the hospital with all well. For me, there was nothing like when I woke up from the surgery the first time and knew everything was well and I finally made it to the other side after 14 months of jumping through the hoops! Let us know how you are doing. The journey is worth it.

I'm excited for you to be the first one of the day! My surgery day came faster than I could have ever imagined even with the months of weigh ins. Looking forward to seeing your great change here on the board.
