Hi all!  I have been reading many posts here and have not seen a question about this yet, so if it has been covered, please excuse my repeating it.  I am curious if anyone knows about the use of Truvia, which is made from stevia. It has no calories or real sugar and is used by friends of mine that are diabetic. I have used it and its great, no aftertaste like Splenda or other artificial sweeteners.  I am wondering if it is ok for WLS patients.  Does anyone know, I can't see why not,  but you never know.

thanks all!

I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

However, I do find it has an aftertaste. But if you don't taste it, go for it.

Best of luck!

I like Truvia much more than any other sweetner I have found. My health nut friend said it is better for you than other, certain, not to be named sweetners. I have used it without any problems, it has never caused a carb craving, I have never dumped on it, and it tastes so good to me. :)

yes  I'm pretty sure you can, you just have to make sure you adjust for taste, and not use too much, sort or like Splenda
