Yogurt Question
all yogurts have a decent amount of sugar in them due to the lactose... in the beginning after surgery I would eat the chobani yogurt, which is very yummy...I always bought the one pre flavored... but now being about ten months out and able to eat a decent amount of food, i stay away from it...just because yogurt is a slider food for me and really doesnt fill me up at all, now if I want a yogurt I eat a light and fit one, which has 1/2 the calories..as I get enough protein in my diet.
I do Greek Yogurt. You can get some and add splenda-sweetened preserves, or I find I can tolerate the yogurt with fruit added and up to 18g from the fruit. I am not sure if I am unusual on that, but I have no issues with fruit . . . I can't tell you about sugar/sugar though as I have stayed clear of anything with sugar added.
I think the FiberOne yogurt was also pretty low carb since you can take the fiber off the total content, but I found it sicky sweet. I like the Greek 0% fat much better, and it has more protein.
Usually if it has Aspartame, that won't be counted in the carbs because it really doesn't have any.
