So, What Are You Eating Today??

Sometimes it helps me stay centered to touch base with my peers in this journey to see how they handle a day at the table!  If you're willing, I'd sure love to know what you're eating today.  Maybe I can get creative ideas for how to change it up a little!  Thanks!  connie

My Plan for the Day:
Breakfast:
1 Extra Large Egg-microwaved with 1/2  slice of Kraft 2% cheese melted on it.
Lunch: 4 oz of London Broil - cooked under the broiler
Afternoon Snack:  1 cup of canteloupe
Dinner Plans:  Eating out- will order and eat ~ 4 ounces of Fried Chicken Fingers (we have a coupon-that's why I will choose the fried item) - sometimes I can handle a little steamed broccoli with meat, but not always.
Evening Snack:  Protein shake.

Total Protein:  81g
Total Calories:  739
Fat Grams: 27g
Total Carbs:  41g

If I need it, I'll also have some grapes, but that's not likely.  I kind of got off my plan last week when we ate at Jersey Mikes on Friday night and so I had bread Friday as well as bread/sandwich leftovers Saturday.  Then Saturday we had a deployment party for my nephew, so I really didn't get protein for dinner, just crackers/cheese plus a lot of veggie and fruit carbs.  So, by Sunday, I was craving carbs again.  I'm working hard to try to strangle that urge back into submission, and I can already tell today is much better than Sunday was.  Yesterday (Monday) I struggled, but I held the line!
