3/15 Weekly Checkin: Is it Spring yet where you are?
Hope everyone is doing better than me. I'm fudging it a little today, because 3 pounds in a single day is JUST NOT FAIR.
I'm going to take my kid to the doctor today because I'm scared she has walking pneumonia. Although the fever has abated, the cough is getting worse.
Starting Weight: 388
Last Week: 255
Today: 254
(Okay this was yesterday. And I was actually 254.2 - lower than ever on this weight loss trip. The scale said 257 this morning.)
Have a great week!!
Spring is in the air here too.. flowers are springing up everywhere.. I picked some daffodils and brought them in and I just love looking at them .. a great reminder evertime I enter the room that winter is gone for good.. It was 68 here this past week.. I was able to get outside and walk.. I actually walked 2 miles one day.. that is the farthest I have ever made it.. I think just being outside in the sunshine and warmth made it feel so good to keep going.. but as it goes in spring it is rainy and cold today.. highs in the 40s for the next two days and then back to the 60's again.. no wonder so many people get sick this time of year.
I didnt have a good week.. I have followed my eating to a T.. calories between 950 to 1100 and proteins from 75 to 105.. I have done so much exercising that I have cramps in places I never had before.. yet no movement on the scale.. aarrrrgggg....THAT SCALE... I sure hope this depo shot gets out of my system enough soon to let me start loosing this.. so much for getting under 200 for my birthday.. less than 10 days to go.. very doubtfull.. oh well.. all I can do it keep doing what I am doing and wait..

This week - 250.4 (tho I did have a 249.8 yesterday)
I'm FRUSTRATED with the slow loss.
Although I have not been infalliable in the food department I have tracked most days this week. I've definately upped the intensity of my work out, even went on a 2 1/2 hike the other day where I burned 826 cals per my heart rate monitor.
I guess I will continue to do what I do and hope that the scale will move faster. I am doing the big hike again tomorrow. I'm kind of actually looking forward to it.
Everyone have a great week!

Dear Mr. 0.8 Pound,
You're going down! You know why? Because once I say sayonara to you, I'll have lost 100 lbs! AND because I already booked my 100 lb. down reward of a massage for this Saturday. (oops) I'm REALLY not wanting a massage that's laden with guilt. So I have exactly 4 days to kick your boo-tay to the curb. Good luck Chuck, you're gonna need it!
Fondly,
Don't Mess With Me
Well I weigh on Fridays, so this is last weeks' news:
High Wt: Somewhere around 385
Pre-Liquid Diet Wt: 367
Pre-Surgery Wt: 353 (14 # loss on the 10 day liquid diet)
Previous Wt: 251
Last Friday Wt: 249 (2 # loss in 1 week)
I'm on kind of a roll, with some weight lost every week for 3 consecutive weeks. That's unusual for me, even in the beginning. So, I'm nervous that I'm heading into a 2-3 week 'no-loss-zone'. I really hate those zones...but, as far as I can tell, it's part and parcel of the package. At least it has been for me.
And YES, it's spring here! We've only recently seen the last of the snow fade away. For the first time in my life, we had some snow on the ground from 2 weeks before Christmas till last week when we had some 60 degree days! Daffodils are beginning to bloom and forsythia bushes are starting to pop! My almond bushes are getting ready and the maple limbs are all reddish looking as they gear up for leafing out!! I'm walking in the fresh and warmish air and it feels wonderful...because I can!!! Hugs everybody! connie
TOO FUNNY!! Once I left the 300's I had the devil of a time remembering I was no longer three-hundred-so-and-so pounds but rather I was now two-hundred-so-and-so pounds. Just now, looking at what posters had to report after me, I saw I had my start weights down in the 200's!! I guess my mind set has finally shifted....now that I'm in the 240's!!! It only took 50 pounds for my mind to catch up!!
