38 lbs down on pre-op liquids, 12 days to surgery!!!
Hi all,
Wow!!! I can hardly believe it. I've been on my pre-op liquid diet for a bit over 2 wks and two different doctor's scales say I've lost 38 lbs already! Halleluiah! I realize that a big portion of that is pure water weight loss but it's still so gratifying to see! Now it feels like it's all downhill to surgery. Thanks to this site and all you wonderful losers for giving me a place to come and build up my confidence - we can do this! Janice
Keep up the great work! When's your surgery?

That's awesome - WTG!!! Prepare yourself a bit that you may not lose huge numbers right after surgery. I lost 36 lbs pre-op and I felt like my numbers right after surgery were a bit smaller than most. I hear that those of us that lose a lost of water weight pre-op often experience that. Best wishes!
