I am just wondering if anyone could give me help in louisiana. I have medicaid and i cannot find a physician to perform the lap band on me. I am in desperate need of a physician. Every door i open gets slammed right in my face. I am so disgusted.

Sorry, I'm in CA and can't help, but I just wanted to wish you luck

Also, have you researched all of your options including RNY , VSG and DS? From what I've learned the band isn't recommend for those with a high 50+ BMI - although some people rock it out!.....
