Hey Sunshine..
I am so happy for you that all went fine.. no complications is great.. just remember to walk walk walk and to sip sip sip sip all day... two of my friends after having uneventful surgeries both got dehydrated after the surgery and wound up back in the hospital .. so make sure you get in as much liquid as possible.. I tried to make sure I got 4 oz every hour.. that is only 2oz every 30 minutes so it is very doable.. then after a week I went to 2oz every 15 minutes.. I even took water to bed with me and if I woke up I took a sip.. if I got up to go to the bathroom I took a sip.. when I got in the shower I took a water bottle and sipped in there. I was determined to not get dehydrated.. didn't want to spend anymore time in the hospital..
Also make sure you walk, even when you don't feel like it.. one friend didn't walk because she had bad knees and was in pain and she developed a blood clot and didn't make it.. so the importance of walking is critical.. also it will help get rid of the gas pains and helps you start to loose too..
I wish you all the best and pray for you to comply with all you need to do to prevent any problems for yourself.. I will keep you in my prayers for you to have a speedy recovery process..
welcome to the loosers bench.. glad you are here with us..
