I was hoping to wait till I got 100lbs gone but this one is close enough. only 10 lbs difference and this one my hubby took so it means a lot to me..  I can finally see the progress by looking at this picture.. I can not see it in the mirror yet..

Awesome! Keep up the great job! I know many months I had lost inches instead of pounds. I haven't taken my measurements in well over a year-but last time I did I had lost over 13 FEET worth of inches overall.

Thanks Kathy.. I am trying to keep up the way I am suppose to and exercise everyday...

Wow that is great.. 13 feet  gone.. that would be 156 inches... man that is so fantastic.. I am excited about my 60 inches.. I guess that is 5 feet.. that is more than I am tall.. I am only 58 inches tall.. lol

never thought of looking at it in feet.. that puts it into perspective doesnt it..

Congrats on your anniversary and your success, Teresa!  You've come such a long way.  I'm most impressed with your diligence with the program, especially how much you lost pre-op!  Not many people have the tenacity to do that, but you did it!  Unbelievable!!

I was so determined to not let the insurance company win.. I had to win this time to save my life.. loosing it on my own was not easy.. I really had to work at it and basically eat 800 calories a day to do it.. I followed the same type of foods allowed that we follow now.. that is why they say the weight loss is so slow now it is like I started the loss after surgery before I had the surgery..so it is like I am a year out now..
 
You made me feel so proud with your comments.. I really appreciate that..  My PCP actually patted me on the back last week and told me he had a lot of people who want to  have the surgery yet they could not stick to  the pre op diet much less follow the regime after the surgery ..so many of them failed.. he said he was proud of me and was happy for me that this is going to work.. that made me feel so good for this PCP who rarely says anything positive to say that..  and for you to say it too now makes me so proud of my accomplishments.. thank you so much for the kind words.. and the encouragement it gives me to continue to fight to win the battle against dying young..

Thank you.. I am glad that I have called this forum home and made such wonderful friends who actually really care about each other.. I love hearing other peoples updates too.. it is so inspiring to follow the other journeys and the ones ahead of you can be so inspiring and the ones behind you make you remember where you came from and proud to be where you are..

I will try to continue to update .. I really need to update my blogs.. I get on here and go straight to this forum and forget all about the blogs.. lol...

You keep giving updates too.. I love hearing about your journey too..
