Out of yet another stall!
Hey everyone,
I am finally getting back to my ole' self. Tough time with the asthmatic bronchitis and strep. It probably is related that not too long I got out of the hospital I was advance to the final stage of the diet with the NUT, but I have upchucked more in the last 2 months than I did at the beginning right after the surgery. I was having such bad coughing fits that if I had eaten anything recently it did not have a chance. You think I would have been losing a ton!!! But no, I was in my 3rd stall for the last 6 weeks. Ugh! Happily, I am a loser once again. I have learned to stay away from the scale finally though and in the last month only weighed about 6 times tops. It really can mess you up. Now I try to just take what I like to think of as "a leap of faith" and trust in the fact that if I know I am doing what I am supposed to time will take care of it. I am almost at 4 months since surgery and have lost 73 since 10/20 which is a smidge over 18 pounds a month so I certainly have nothing to complain about. Just encouraging everyone who may be experiencing stalls to just hang in there and trust in the process.
Also, a food tip, if you have had trouble with pasta. I tried Dreamfields pasta after getting sick twice on pasta since getting into the final stage of my plan. Their pasta has 5 g of digestible carbs so it is low carb pasta. I am happy to report I successfully consumed spaghetti last night!!! One of my favorite foods I did not want to give up and now I can have it.
Hope everyone is rocking their chosen WLS tool and is having much success this weekend!

GREAT to see you, Donna! I'm glad things are getting back on track and you are feeling better. And getting out of that stall was the BEST. Congrats!

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY! Working on the next 25. Then I'll tackle more...

I don't know about success this week for me.. Ive been PMSing all week and refuse to weigh myself until the river has run dry - hopefully I will hop on the scale on Sunday or Monday. Ive been exercising a lot... so like you.. I am putting my faith in that my body knows what to do and the scale better follow suit accordingly!!!
Have a great weekend!!! Love & Hugs!
