Nice to meetcha John!  My other half also has ongoing heart issues so I know how important and sometimes frustrating it can be to get control of the Ol' Ticker.  Glad you are on the mend, and both enjoying life!!!  Peggy I hear ya on the always being cold thing... I laugh because I want to wear smaller clothes all the time, but the only way to stay warm is by layering which makes me look like an oompa loompa sans the orange tint! Love & Hugs!

Peggy, Glad to know your husband is doing better.  My dad had a triple bypass in his 40s which was a tough thing to recover from but he was around almost 30 years more after that.  You are both getting healthy together and that is awesome.  You are doing incredible.

Friends are the family we choose for ourselves.

Nice to "meetcha," John, and glad you're on the mend! Having once lived in Schuylkill County about 15 years ago for a couple of years, I know you live in a beautiful part of the country with much under-appreciated nature (and ohhh so many tasty eats!)...what is the name of that place (in a row home) where you can get "screamers" and "growlers"--incredibly flavorful chili-dogs and burgers?

Peggy, you look radiant in your recent pic! Your happiness shows...here's to much continued success in 2010!

Great pictures Peggy. thanks for sharing.. it is nice to finally see a face of a man I have been praying for all this time.. I am glad you are both healthier now.. wow 10 years together.. that is great too.. so many marriages are not making it that far these days.. it is nice when we find a spouse that is there for us no matter what..

I love the smile on your face in the new picture.. to see the difference in weight is one thing.. but look at your face.. you are so so much happier now.. and it shows in that smile..

You have made such great strides.. the loss of inches is fantastic and the loss of sizes too.. you have done so well .. I feel so privileged to have been able to share the journey with you..

I am freezing all the time too..  so yes I dress in layers to stay warm..  and now I even wear socks to bed ..lol..  But even with the layers on you look fantastic..  I am so proud for you for all the physical changes but also for the mental and emotional changes.. you are now a very independent and self assured woman.. and that is a big WOW..

keep doing what it is your doing .. your on your way to a skinny mini.. be proud of your accomplishments and watch the sizes continue to go down.. I have finally got past wearing the baggy clothes.. yes I have a spare tire of skin but I am still just so proud of the weight loss so I don't care who sees the spare tire. So much smaller than the watermelon I carried around for years..

Tell John it was nice to meet him finally,,, and you go girl  ... you continue to inspire me..

huggs.
