Ive been doing my pre op diet for about a week and today i just lost it I stopped at a bakery to pick up a birthday cake and bought 3 sugar cookies with frosting and ate them all. I had spagetti and meat sauce 3 pcs of garlic bread and choc cake..... I guess tomorrow is a new day but how do I stop this......... Feeling defeated I want to beat this but I wonder if I can

Dont feel defeated, think of this pre-op diet as practice period for your diet after you operation. We have all follen off a diet or two, just remember that you are correct tommorrow is a new day, and you can do better in it. No one is perfect. I know you can do this, and will be sucessful. Good luck, and keep us posted.

You can't "undo" yesterday, just make today the very best you can.  This is so short term and before you know it, you'll be on the losers' bench!   So... make it the best you can, and surgery will go well.

I know it can be soooo difficult. Ok, you made a mistake, but like Mary said, make today the best it can be. get someone else to pick up the birthday cakes in the future lol

Hang in there. Once you have your surgery you will have the wonderful help of a tool to help you control what you eat. We all needed it, that's why we're all here. You are not alone so don't feel defeated, just know we are all here understanding and supporting you.

The good news is you woke up, it's a new day, go get some veggies to chew on
