Strange NSV, but I'll take it!

My Ma fell yesterday and I had to take her in to get some stitches (she's fine now).

But one of the doctors she saw came and introduced himself and asked if I was her granddaughter.

I'm sure he sez that kind of stuff to lots of women, but it was a nice little pick me up in a morning of bad craziness.

Well that's just great Patti!! I will be expecting those size 24 levi's to arrive shortly lol I was in Macy's 2 weeks ago and I saw some levi's on the rack and I thought of all of you lol

I was on skype with my son while he was in NY @ my grandmother's house and she saw me, said I look 20 years younger....I'm not sure if that was a compliment for me or that would make her 20 yrs younger too! lol

Compliments can go a long way... smile and take it in...

But I had just the opposite said.. Mom was helping clean up after Bryce's first birthday party.. she was doing dishes and I was running around collecting them and putting food that was left over in containers for people to take home.. a member of Beau's family (that's my son in law). was being introduced to people.. He was introduced to my mom and told she was Bryce's great grandma.. when I entered the room he asked her if I was her sister.. I just laughed and told mom the more weight I loose the younger you get.. mom is turning 69 this year but she does still look young and can usually run circles around me .. but I am catching her now..

At my age (50.. getting ready to turn 51 in March) .. the more weight I loose the more skin is flapping, including the turkey waddle and the face is drooping.. so no I am not looking younger but I am looking healthier.. lol.. if that counts for anything.. weather I look better or not I know I feel a lot better and maybe I will actually be around to see a great grandchild..

Wow!  that was fun, I bet, Patti!   You do look young and are very pretty.   It's nice to hear those things from relative strangers, though!
