I have a date...and this one's different
Okay so usually when someone posts they have a date it's a surgery date. But I have a bonafide date this weekend. It's supposed to be Valentine's Day, but may change it to Saturday. That's just too much pressure. It's someone I have been talking to that I met online. OMG I haven't done this in a loooooooooooooooong time. This should be interesting.
So HAPPY for you! Have fun. Since you met on line, may want to meet somewhere neutral the first time like at the restaurant or something. Got to be careful. That is the mama hen portion of the message!

Woo Hoo. My kids both have boring love lives (son is engaged and daughter won't talk), so can I enjoy yours vicariously?? I agree with Donna, be cautious and go into this with your eyes wide open and see what develops. We'll be rooting for you.
Food is for sissies. REAL women exist on skim milk, protein powder, broth and air..... 
A date.. man I havent thought about dating in so many years.. I wouldnt know what to do.. I have been married for 31 years and can't even remember dating.. lol..

I met my hunk on line!!! Here we are 8 months later :)

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!
Two years after that....
I could not be happier.
Enjoy your outing and try to keep it light & fun with minimum nerves! I love hearing about ventures into romance as it is such a heady experience with the right chemistry. I too met my SigOt (10 years together this year) online!
