GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS; i am so sore today so i guess that means it's working, yeah ok. Today is my cardio day, let's see how long i can go cause i can barely move but i'm determined to keep pushing forward.

The last couple of days I've been shoveling snow.  Yes, me, shoveling!  I think my husband is in shock.  I actually enjoyed it.

Today I am getting on my exercycle.

I know about snow though i live in Atlanta now i'm from Detroit. Shoveling is good upper body workouts. Thanks for posting.

Good Morning!  I survived last night's Zumba class even though by the time I got off the Nausea Express (AC Transit Transbay Commute Bus) and home... I didn't much feel like going, but I dragged myself there anyway.. amazingly my headache was gone by the end of the workout!!!

Tonight its the whole body resistance workout with my rubber bands.  I actually really love those bands... because I can do the exercises in the living room with just a little space.  Its a nice change from all the jumping around high impact stuff.   Funny how the resistance bands work up less of a sweat but more of a worked out sore muscle!  I am learning its best for me to mix it up to avoid boredom and keep it interesting.

This weekend I will be walking on the beach...  thank goodness the weather calls for Sunshine...  and am very much looking forward to getting outside and workin out my legs and feet in the sand! ;)

Ok ! I can finally post with you all. I've been away from the gym for  week and a half!! Today I had to drag myself back and whe I finally got there... wooow I had a serious endorphin rush...2 miles in 30 minuets on the eliptical. Panting, gasping 4 breath and heart beating out my chest. Excellent!! I will be back on my every other day cardio schedule.

Seems like we're doing great this week. I just got back from the gym. I did 3 miles elliptical, 3 miles recumbent bike. I also signed up for a hour personal traning session which was free for Friday. He worked this one girl out so tough i'm scared lol.

Hi all-

I am trying to loose pre-op, and I have been struggling with my knees, so I have been doing these seated exercise videos, I am bound and determined to do something so I can get in the habit of doing at least 1/2 and hour each day...  I am 15 minutes now, but I am working on it!  : )

Sorry I am so late checking in.. busy day today.. Dish tv was here for two hours trying to get my tvs fixed right.. and that put me behind in my chores and workouts..

  But I did get started right after they left.. I actually did a whole hour today on Wii Fit.. I did free steps for 30 minutes and rhythm steps about 10 times and rhythm boxing few times.. and then played around with ski jumping and table tilt and hula hoop.. I was amazed that hula hoop did not hurt my back this time.. I only did it twice because I was scared..

I did walk on the treadmill tonight too. I missed my morning walk because of the technicians but that's ok.. I stayed busy the rest of the day running around doing chores..

Tomorrow I plan on doing  Wii Just Dance and skip Wii fit.. I think I will alternate them every other day.. too much to do it all in one day.. don't want to risk hurting the back and/or knees and then cant do for several days..

I feel good and it is so much easier to do Wii now and the walking too.. I may bump the treadmill  up to 15 minutes each time..

Everyone is doing so good.. I just love the accountability on here and the encouragement to MOVE..
