Ugghhh, another stall......
I've been at a stall for a little while now. Someone please tell me that it will go away soon. I'm feeling kinda down and unmotivated right now. I'm trying to hit my century mark but nothing seems to be happening. My pouch is doing it's own thing...sad but true. I read here once that there was a pouch test. Does anyone remember it or know where I can find it? I'm feeling a bit out of place with myself. If anyone has any recommendations or words of wisdom ( and I know you do-I've been here a while and you are all so wonderful and helpful) please share them. Thank you, friends! One thing I know, I'm not giving up on me!
Thanks so much for the well-wishes all! Doing good on my vitamin supplements. And I love my protein shakes. In fact I do a 60g shake every morning. The rest of the day is solid protein with me eating chicken mostly and some very lean ground beef and turkey. Salads are my favorite! I don't really count calories but know that I could be exercising A LOT more. My biggest meal is usually lunch and that's either a salad or a soup. I was doing good up until the dreaded holidays. I was in a routine, loving every bit of this journey. Now, as I type, I can see I'm still loving my journey, but my routine is really dragging its butt! One thing I'm not sure about are sunflower seeds. I love those lil' monsters. Do you think I need to give those up completely? Thanks for the questions! It's really helping me see my whole BIG picture!!
I've been in a little stall since the holidays. Last week I added an extra scoop of protein powder to skim milk (2 scoops total). I was drinking one scoop in crystal light. That's an added 34 grams of protein. In the last 6 days i've lost 5.4 lbs! I can't think of anything else that could have caused it. I was getting around 70 grams of protein. This week i've been getting 100-105.

Right there with ya! I'm in a stall myself, I heard it's pretty common around the 6 month mark which is where we are. I'm gonna increase my protein, change my exercise routine (step it up a notch) and hope that I can trick my body into droppin' those lbs!!!

LOVE YOU ALL SOOOOO MUCH!!! THANKS FOR VALIDATING MY BODY'S WACKINESS!!! I'm going to increase my protein and my exercise, which I did today. I also started the pouch test today. Let's see what happens. I just want to thank you all for the support! I mean, seriously, it's always nice to know that you're not alone along this journey, obstacles and wow moments and all!! Love you guys!!
Go back to basics for a couple days and see if that kickstarts your weight loss again. I'm not sure where to find the pouch test-but I remember from years ago it was a cottage cheese test. You eat as much cottage cheese as you can-measuring it first. I believe the most you are supposed to be able to eat is a cup-but I could be wrong.
Glad to hear you aren't giving up on you! Best wishes on your journey!!!

Okay, friends, here goes! I finished the 5 day pouch test this week, went back to basics and increased my protein just a bit. And by this morning, I had lost 3 pounds!! I think I'm gonna be ok...back on track and ready to start losing again. Thanks everyone for your support. One thing I noticed after doing the test is that I got FULLER wayyyy FASTER!! I mean it really was crazy!! I hadn't felt like that since a few weeks after surgery. It was a great, tight, full feeling! Just wanted to update you all with my results and to THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR LISTENING TO ME AND FOR SUPPORTING ME!!! Love you all soooo much!!!
