 Food is for sissies. REAL women exist on skim milk, protein powder, broth and air.....

Hey all, nice to be missed.  Been hanging in there.  Have been back in the hospital with bronchitis and Strep throat.  Still not feeling all that great.  Most days, just getting in my 8 hours is such a chore I dont have much energy for internet free time.

Finally got to the final stage of my doc's plan on Jan 19th.  Now I have to do at least 80 g of protein and am suppossed to start getting in veggies and grains.  Oh Vey!  Way too much food!  I still really dont have any appetite.  I deal with head hunger from time to time and occasionally if I forget to eat I feel my stomach needs food, but mostly I just try to eat on a timed schedule.  Especially being sick, I rarely want to eat and have been eating very bland lately. 

Friends are the family we choose for ourselves.

Well you were most certainly missed.  I am sorry to hear things have been rough, but glad to know you are okay.  I can so relate on the too much food and head hunger thing.  It seems sometimes I now hate the thought of having to eat, but of course I just do it.  Day by day, right, this is a process.  Hope you are feeling more yourself soon!

Well that's a revolting situation having to MAKE yourself eat, Donna. I hope you get stronger soon. We are all thinking of you and sending you good thoughts. You are WAY lighter than you were, but obviously need your strength and energy back. Hang in there.
