GREAT MORNING: A Triple Whammy!!
So I had three victories this morning:
1. Down 2 pounds since yesterday!! (I HAVE BROKEN MY STALL FOR SURE!)
2. Blew right past 130 pounds down to 131!
3. And my favorite: I fit into SIZE 24 LEVIS today!!!!!!!
You'll have to forgive my enthusiasm about the Levis. But I remember being 13 in 1982 and almost everyone around me is wearing Levis. Besides being too fat to fit into them (they didn't make size 24s in 1982), we were poor. I was mostly wearing the one pair of jeans we could afford from Sizes Unlimited (remember them?). Or occasionally I would wear my mom's polyester pants with the fake crease down the front (totally mortifying if you're 13). I've never, ever, ever, had a pair of Levis. Someone gave me this pair a couple of years ago and I've held on to them.
I haven't fit into a 24 since 1995?
Everyone have a great day!!!!

Patti - you are so cute!! I love this post. You are SO on a roll, girl!!! Keep it going - you are so inspiring. Other than me being so much older than you, we have LOTS in common. And the clothes thing is just one of them. At my age, the clothes fitting is great, but the health changes are the best.
130 pounds gone forever!!!!! WOW. Can't wait to have that kind of number. I told my guy that I was going to hit two milestones at the same time in a few months here, if all goes right. Since my starting weight was 399, my 100 will put me in the 200s!!!! Wow. That will be a big WOW for me.
Have a great day, I love reading your upbeat posts.

WOW ...that is so great.. (three for three)
I know exactly what you mean with the Levi's.. I have never owned a pair and could never fit into them..they tend to run a bit small anyway and the sizes just never went that big.. I have "Buying a pair of Levi's" on my list of goals. not too many people might understand that but I see that you do... I have a pair now that a friend gave me and I just cant wait to get into them.. all the other pants that size I am in.. but not the Levi's... so when you see me post I got in the Levi's or I bough a pair. I know you will understand the joyous feeling..
I am so happy for you that you broke the stall.. that was a long one.. and you did it.. you hung in there and now look.. your even skipping lbs.. 131 lbs gone.. man I cant wait..
I am so so happy for you.. keep it up.. your doing fantastic..
I just love your attitude.. It makes me tend to be happier too..
You have so much on your plate but always seem to look for the bright side of things..
We are both into a 24 jean.. and the last zip up jeans I ever wore was in 1993..about then same time frame as you.. ( a long time ago.). I had the elastic waist fake jeans but not real jeans.. the first pair I bought since the weight loss started (not Levi's, but another brand) was at Target and they were 28's, but I was so happy to even be able to get on a pair and zip them.. I did a dance in the dressing room.. lol..
huggs to you.....

Yippadee, Patti!!! Congrats on the triple-vic, you totally needed and deserve this! I too am rejoicing in fitting into Size 24 Lee jeans! I'm debuting them tomorrow for Casual Day at work...it's been 20 years since I'll have worn set-in waist (non-elastic) pants, so it's def a NSV. Way to go...so glad that darn stall is over!

Way to go Patti!!!
I know when I could start wearing sizes that began with 2 (started with a 38-40), I was excited because I could find a lot more variety in clothing.
I do remember those polyester pants but I was the one wearing them back in the 80's. I hated them then and I was 27 that year. I remember being 13 and the highest junior size was a 15 and had to wear women's size 18 and back then the selection was really bad.
Hope your day was great !!

Wow Patti Congrats....I saw everybody posting about the Levi's magical 24's and I realized I wore a pair of Levi's yesterday(that were in my closet from sometime that never fit, that now fit) so I looked at the size....guess what....yep 24's whoo hoooo. It's like the sisterhood of the traveling pants. LOL! Who gets them next?
