I would suggest you mix it with some fat free gravy and have some mashed potato with it - it will only be a little of each.  Not sure how it will taste.  I couldn't do the pureed meats myself, but I did try it.  I ended up using cottage cheese and light soups during that phase.  Good luck!

I've been cooking meats in the crock pot and then pureeing them with some of the juices from the broth.  I'm just super careful not to over puree because the texture is not good when that happens.  I just throw it away and try again.   I also made some tuna and chicken salads which helped me ease into it.

I don't know if you can but I could also have flaked fish.  Salmon has helped me get in the feeling of having real food instead of just puree.  But I do have cottage cheese over it to keep it very moist.

Congratlations on your promotion! lol eating for me at that time was so hard i don't remember what i ate. i remember some mashed potatoes and blended ricotta cheese with spaghetti sauce, that was a little too heavy and didn't go over well lol

good luck, i hope this stage passes quickly. soft foods were much easier for me!

The ricotta cheese with some spaghetti sauce on it was the tastiest thing I ate during the mushy period. I eat it occasionally even now.

Refried beans with a little taco sauce and a few shreds of melted cheese were good too.

Hey there Ahari I hope things are going well.   When I was on pureed food I would blend up chicken, feta cheese, carrots, and some itailian dressing.  It kind of tasted like a greek salad with chicken.  I also mixed it with mayo (full fat -after all we do have the DS) and made some chicken salad.   How long are you on puree for?  I plan on coming back to ATL sometime this year - I am going to plan out a big Ds get together so I can meet all of my fellow DSers in ATL.   PM me is you need anything.
