What's your weekend workout? Eats? Going ons?
Hope everyone has a nice relaxing weekend planned, full of time for self care and love. And if not, I hope you can squeak some little moments in just for you! :)
Just finished a 1mile Walk Away the Pounds video... eesh, I expected that doing the 2mile would be easy, but it seems I still get a little run down since surgery. I've put off getting into the exercise habit for longer than I should have, so baby steps now and I know I'll make progress :)
This morning the scale said 301.8......... GETTING SO CLOSE!!! I'm 78.2 pounds down (42.4 since surgery). I would love to have two-derville happen this upcoming week! Knock on wood :)
Anyway, thought maybe I'd get a weekend thread going so we can all check in and say hi. Have a great day!
Michelle
Edited to add: I'm roasting some almonds right now... coated in PAM and sprinkled with splenda and unsweetened cocoa powder. Fingers crossed they turn out well :)
Michelle, you are SO close to Twoterville. I hope it happens for you this weekend too. Let us know how the almonds turn out. I've roasted them dry, but never tried the Splenda chocolate idea.
I've been eating berries. They are tremendously expensive, but taste good these days. I'm going to make a vegetable soup today.
I am riding my recumbent bike at home, but I have a chair yoga DVD that I never watched. Hopefully you will inspire me to view it. I'm good at buying things and then not USING them.....
I hope to take my Mom to see Blindside tomorrow. She doesn't like getting out much, but I convinced her that we need to see Sandra Bullock in this movie. I will probably make some cards while the Super Bowl is on. I like football. So....it's a boring weekend at the Millers, but I feel pretty satisfied with it.
We went to coffee with our WLS friends here - nice to live in a big city sometimes - the support is great. I made beef stew last night with lots of veggies. I can eat about 2/3 cup of it, and it hits the spot. I've packed some in small containers to take for lunch. My protein is going better - carnation instant breakfast sugar free with 1% milk heated up makes a nice hot chocolate! I'm going to get on my stationary bike - that's the plan.

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY! Working on the next 25. Then I'll tackle more...
