My First Wow moment!!!

Now, I know that this may not seem like a big deal to most people, but for me it's a biggie!!!  Yesterday I went to see my pain management doctor for a med check and CII refills.  While we were discussing the option of changing me to another liquid pain med (that I could actually find in a pharmacy) since I am not able to tolerate the crushed pills....I crossed my legs.  Not the man kind of crossing your legs but the dainty women kind of crossing your legs.  There I was sitting and realized that I was getting a leg cramp and I wanted to stretch my muscles so I just casually raise my right leg up and hook the back of my knee over the left like I'd been doing this all of my life!!!

I HAVE NEVER EVER CROSSED MY LEGS LIKE THIS BEFORE - WHEN I TRIED IN THE PAST MY LEG WOULD JUST SLIDE OFF!!!!  THIS TIME IT STAYED!!!
I didn't even think about what I'd done until much later when I was at home stretching my legs to try and work the cramp out.  Now I haven't tried to cross my legs again in case it was a fluke but I know it wasn't a figment of my imagination.

Now if I get this type of wow at a 48 pound weight loss I wonder  what it'll be at 75 and 100??

that is not a small wow... it is a great wow.. I have lost 80lbs now but I still can't cross my legs.. it is on my goal list but not there yet.. many people make it a goal to achieve so no it is not a small thing..

Congratulations.. I am sure if you did it once you can do it again..

48 lbs lost that is great.. I have not lost too much since surgery..I am now at 13lbs lost.. the scale is finally moving .. maybe one day I can cross my legs too..

That almost made me cry... It is amazing... what would be almost unnoticeable to some... when you are one of the 'over 50' these wows are incredible!  I have only lost about 30 but, I do notice some little things.. just being able to stand longer!  It is an amazing feeling! God Bless
