This post is indeed a great idea to start the new year!

OMG, I cannot believe I failed to note the "children"--Paisley, 3 year old Boston Terrier/Pug="Bug"
Riesling AKA Reesie, 3 year old Boston Terrier runt!

They are better than TV, anytime!

Oh yeah, Woodstock, our orange canary!

Marital: Divorced and one 7 year old daughter
Co-morbid....Where do I begin? severe sleep apnea(gone), prediabetic(gone), depression/aniexty(gone), chronic ankle swell(gone), and on the verge of many other things.  Strangely my blood pressure has gotten higher since about three months prior to surgery and I am still hoping that it will come back down.

again, great idea! i'm a newbie lurker ...

Name: Denise
Current Hometown: Grandview MO (south suburb of Kansas City)
Age: 38
Starting BMI: 69
Marital status/Kiddles?: never married, no kids ... but I have a cat and 2 plants!
Comorbidities (if any): borderline high blood pressure, suspect prediabetes, joint pain, plantar fasciitis/heel pain (really surprised that I don't have sleep apnea, but I had the sleep study and everything was A-OK)
Trigger foods of most concern: cheeseburgers and fried chicken are evil (ha ha) but I am learning to exercise my power over them...

I am pre-op, just starting to lose my 10% ... as soon as I can find a scale to accurately weigh me! I'm also working on my issue w/bingeing - i know that NO surgery will help me until I heal my relationship with food.

You guys are so nice and supportive - thanks!
