Good morning, all!
Name: Michelle
Current Hometown: Central New York
Age: 28 (29 next Saturday!)
Starting BMI: 57.8 (current 47.8)
Marital status/Kiddles?: Single, one daughter, age 10
Comorbidities (if any): GERD, high cholesterol, swelling (also contributed by bloog clots in right leg), and a really crappy quality of life b/c while I was mobile, there wasn't much I could do besides walk for 5 minutes! :)
Trigger foods of most concern: Bread, pasta, potatoes, rice, and fast food. Those are the doozies that got me to 380 lbs. I've had mashed potatoes a few times post op and they made me feel like crap. While I still miss bread a LOT, I'm contemplating saying goodbye to it (outside of wraps and crackers) for good. My energy level has been very even since giving up those foods and I want that to continue. I'm not one that can have a trigger food in moderation and call it good.
