One month check up yesterday.

I had my one month check up yesterday.. I weighed in at 225lbs.. that is 11 lbs lost this month.. I know it is slow but I am happy to see the scale moving ... The nut said it is because I was on basically the same diet before surgery for over 9 months. and now the big difference is just the mal absorption.. and I had lost 67 lbs before surgery..  it will be slow but it will come off.. I am just so happy that it is finally going in the right direction.. I only have 25 more lbs to loose to be in onederland.. I can't believe I am that close.. and only 27 lbs to have lost 100 lbs.. so yes I am happy..

I was given the all clear to do more exercises and go to the pool .. so maybe now I will see more weight loss at a faster rate.. I will be weighing in every week.. but as I found out yesterday my home scale is off by a couple of lbs.. but that is all I have to go by..

Oh yes.. one more bit of good news.. I measured too for my month out.. I have really lost a lot more inches.. I have lost a total of 36 inches all together..     I did not measure at first for my base until August when I had already lost 55 lbs.. so that 36 inches is since then.. so only about 20lbs lost in weight since then but 36 lost in inches.. yippee..

I started with a waist of 63 inches in August and now my waist measures 46..  this is my best wow moment I have had ..   I just had to share that with you guys..

Thanks to all of you for the encouragement you gave me this past month when I was really struggling with the ups and downs..

Happy New Year to all of you..

Congrats hun... so now u can see what i meant bout measuring because even when the scales not moving  or moving slow... ur body is changing.. ur building muscle an burning fat.. kicking metabolism in to over drive... i love my RNY... congrats on ur wows.. an ur continued success.... i cant wait to see ur new pics when u upday them... lookin forward to watching u morph.. dont forget to relax an breathe... it helps with weight loss as well... long slow deep breaths an relaxing after a meal giving it time to digest an give u energy also helps...  my meal times are my reflection times now... instead of being focused on food... after i fix my meal  measured weighed  etc.. an i get my plate... an sit down to eat... i relax my self an think how far i have come.. an all the amazing wows i have seen an the ones to come...  as im eating i take my time an just savory every bite..  an think this woulda been 2 or 3 bites swallowed an gone in a min last year an i wouldnt of even tasted it.. everything is so different now... an i used to down everything with diet soda... so i truly never tasted most food...  our lifes are changing so much... find time to enjoy an reminise in the changes.. it will help u move even further ahead... mentally an goal wise... hugs to u my friend... im sooooo very proud of u.... happy dances with u.... have a wonderful stress free new year..

Thanks so Much Peggy.. I am proud of the weight loss and the measurements.. even the doc said it was slower than he would like to see but it is all I can do.. I have hurt my back AGAIN.. I was not able to do any exercises yesterday at all.. The most I did was walk out to the barn.. two new kids born yesterday, but I couldnt even bend over to see if they were male or female..
Today I have to try to do something. I walked over 3 hrs on Sunday and Monday was the trip.. did a lot of walking in stores after appointment but the 4 hour car trip really did me in...on Tuesday night.. we bowled on wii with daughter and son in law.. I didnt think it was hurting my back but boy was I wrong.. last night we went bowling for real and all I could do was sit in the chair and watch.. sip sip sip and trips to the bathroom was my night... I hate that.. almost couldnt get out of bed this morning.. but I am up and going.. slowly.. but going..
You know you are right .. I am going to try to think of positive things during my meals.. all I think now is if I am eating slow enough and watching the clock.. maybe if I take time to look back at accomplishments it will slow me down and help with the fullness and digestion..
I cant wait to see physical changes and put up a new avitar but at this rate it will be awhile..
I love your new avitar.. you look so so good..  I am proud of you too..
Hugs to you..

Congrats on your inches!

I hope your back is feeling better soon. It's so frustrating to be losing weight and then have to deal with back pain.

Happy New Year!!
