I'm a go for tomorrow!

Everything is cool here for lap band tomorrow. I didn't pick an angel person since I figure I'll be back online by Wed. My husband is an RN too so I'm in good hands. He's kind of cold and overly disciplined, but he does what needs to be done for me and lately he's been NICE, which is kind of unsettling.....

I'm FREEZING cold from these pre op liquids. Broth with unflavored Unjury is my new best friend.

I take Oxycontin and Emend pre op and those two pills cost me $48. How can two pills cost $48?? Sheesh. Anyway, I've got a good surgeon and so I'm READY!!! Goodness it's been a big production getting to this surgery. I started pushing for it in early May.

Woo Hoo....Miss Ruby you are on your way! I remember when you first started this journey, it sure got here fast! I'll be keeping you in my prayers, please check in as soon as you can so we'll know you're OK.

I am so sure you are on cloud nine today.. Tomorrow will be here with a blink of the eye.. I am so excited for you..

Tell hubby I said  that he needs to be nice to you at the hospital too.  I know he is a nurse but sometimes nurses get so unattached and just want to do the job and not worry about the patients feelings.. He is your husband first and nurse second.. He just needs to worry about being there for you and supporting you and making sure the nurses there do THEIR job..

It has been a long time coming for you .. I was so priveledged to be able to follow you as you made the journey to surgery, and I will feel privledged to follow your weight loss journey afterwards..

God has truly blessed you with unique talents and abilities. Your positive attitude, your willingness to try new things. Your dedication and caring ways to your friends. You take the time to listen to what others have to say and offer your compassion, understanding and loving advice. You are always there to share in the laughter and the tears and the the uncertain ride of all your OH friends..We will return that to you every day as you need us.  I know that you have truly touched my life and I am sure many others feel the same way.. I just wanted you to know I feel richly blessed to have you as a friend.. As you go forward tomorrow and are ready to celebrate a new life May God the Father bless you, God the Son heal you, and God the Holy Spirit give you strength..

Congratulations...good luck...I'm so excited you would think it was me going in for surgery! I know everything will be great. Please update us as soon as you can!
