I'm so excited for you on Wednesday. You've truly worked that tool and worked that body.

Congrats!

I weigh on Tuesday.  Here's my report:

Starting 399
Surgery 384

Another decade broken!!!

I hope to start exercising soon.  I tried the stationary bike and it was hard to do.  Michael had to help me with a step.  Not sure if I'll be doing that or not .

I AM NOT SURE WHAT IS GOING ON.  I AM STARTING TO WONDER IF THIS SURGERY IS GOING TO WORK FOR ME.  I AM TAKING IN ABOUT 600-800 CALORIES PER DAY.  I AM NOT EXERCISING CONSISTENTLY, BUT I AM MOVING MORE.  RIDING THE BIKE, DOING CHORES, GOING UP AND DOWN STAIRS.

LAST MONDAY I WAS 269 AND THIS MONDAY I WAS 269.  WHAT IS UP WITH THIS.  I HAVE LOST A TOTAL OF 43LBS IN 7 WEEKS AND I KNOW I SHOULD BE HAPPY WITH IT, BUT YOU REALLY CAN'T TELL I LOST MUCH BY LOOKING AT ME.

MY CALORIES ARE RESTRICTED, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE I HAVE BEEN AT THIS STALL FOR A WHILE NOW!!  I KNOW I HAVEN'T DONE EVERYTHING PERFECTLY, BUT I HAVE MADE TONS OF CHANGES.  AND VERY FEW SLIP UPS.

I WELCOME SUGGESTIONS.

AsuraDunnigan just keep doing what your doing.  Just keep faith that mathmatically you have to be losing weight with the amount of calories and activity you are having.  I did not lose weight for just a smidge over 3 weeks and it was murder to endure.  My stall finally broke and in the last 2 weeks I have lost about 14 pounds.  I think I was at - 47 at about week 7 (counting loss from SW).  Time will take care of all stalls no matter how infuriating.  We did not gain it all overnight but we sure want to lose it in a hurry.  I know.  It is hard to be so patient.  Remember to take measurements.  In the 3 weeks I did not lose, I had lost 1-1/2 inches at my waist.  Also, I had to finally put the scale under my bed and only weigh once a week.  It was just a torture to weigh all the time and see no progress.  You can and you will lose weight.  Keep up the good work with the calories and exercise.  Have you talked to the NUT recently.  I have been averaging about 850 cals recently so maybe you want to add some extra intake.  An extra greek yogurt maybe for 19 g protein and about 100 or so cals?  Just a thought.  My program says 60 to 70 g protein and 64 water minimum.  However, I have always drank a lot of fluid so I have been slowing trying to up my average so that I am averaging about 90 right now.  I want to get closer to 120 because my eyes and lips are always so dry.  Also, on days I am doing more exercise, I try to get up to 90 g protein by using protein powder in my decaf coffee.  Sometimes you just need more so your body doesn't get scared into thinking there is a famine and it needs to hang on to the fat for dear life.  Hope that stall busts wide open for you soon.

Friends are the family we choose for ourselves.
