WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I weighed in yesterday and I am down to 350!!!!! 247 pounds gone since my journey began and 190 since my surgery 12/16/08. I am trying to lose those last 10 lb so that i can officially say i have lost 200 lb since my surgery date. Don't know if I can do it, but I am surely going to try!!!

My life has changed so much this past year. The majority were positive with a few negative. but the good is outweighing the bad and I'm estatic...In case you couldn't tell. LOL

What a wonderful Christmas present this was last year and it is the gift that just keeps on giving!

Phenomenal!  You are just doing great.   That's what we need and want and why we do the surgery.  Thanks for being an inspiration.

Wow. That's AMAZING. Good for you. You really turned your life around. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm on day 3 of liquids pre op and I have a headache and feel SAD. I think I'm mourning the loss of food. I'll be glad to be getting some RESULTS like you have, so I have something else to think about.

Happy Holidays to YOU!!! Do you like clothes shopping now?

Thank you very much. You know, I have tried to stop counting, get on the scale just once a week and live my life.

I understand mourning the loss of food...especially in the beginning. But now, I do so many other things I have to remember to eat...especially on the weekends! Food has taken a back seat and my life, in jeans with my seatbelt on is in the front seat lol

Happy Holidays to you as well! I was so glad to read that you are anticipating your date, you have worked so hard to get here...i'm very happy for you!

I LOVE SHOPPING! I think it has replaced the food, although its not unlimited since it costs money lol I have replaced almost my entire wardrobe except for some things that i never wore because they were too small. I am elated to say that NOTHING i wore prior to surgery fits anymore. I think I have replaced all of my underwear 4 times by now lol my foot has shrunk 1 size and 1 width. Before I could not fit into a pair of jeans no matter how stretchy they were (i carry most of my weight around my stomach) but as of yesterday i have put the size 32 jeans that fit nicely when purchased a couple of months ago in the discard pile. I am down 3 sizes since then and on my way into size 24. I have a pair of designer jeans waiting for me!

Another poster talked about the lightweights having their wow moments so soon, but i have to say, everytime i can do something i couldn't do before is a wow moment for me and it seems they happen everyday.

Best of luck with your surgery, you are so committed I look forward to reading about all of your newest wow moments...But losing that 37lb was the most important wow moment of all!
