Hi All,

I'm flying down to Florida next week and I'm wondering if I'll need my handy-dandy selt-belt extender?
I started at 330lbs and now weigh 230lbs. I'm not sure if I'll need it.

Your experiences?

I don't think you'll need it. This is based on experience long ago.

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY!  Working on the next 25.  Then I'll tackle more...

I don't think so, I flew a couple of months ago at 300 and I fit!

Thanks for the responses. It's been so long since I've flown anywhere. I wasn't sure about the seat-belt thing!  Happy to hear I won't be needing it!

You should not need it.  At 330 I was close to fitting without one.

I gotta tell ya, I just flew and was disappointed I still needed the extender, but was relieved to experience barely needing the extra seat... getting in and out of the row of seats much easier.... trekking between terminals on foot and not getting winded.... all wonderful things.  :o)  I have never travelled and had such an enjoyable experience!  I'm still a 3x/4x and having lost 224 lbs, I still have alot of flesh that bunches up when I sit.  If it was a standing seat belt, no problem, lol.  Maybe next time.  I'm joyously hopeful :o)  Have a wonderful trip!
