I'm new!

Hi Everyone,

I just joined the site recently... I have a BMI of 49.9 (today... it seems to flucuate frequently).

For now, I am a non-op... but I just may end up seeking out a procedure eventually. I was able to lose 100 lbs several years ago, but I gained it all back and then some (130lbs gained...)

I'm here to give it one last try. I am in dire need of a permanant lifestyle change... here it goes, wish me luck!

Good luck to you, Celia. I've never lost 100 lbs. My usual is 40 lbs and then I go back to my old wicked ways. Don't know why it's so hard for us to KEEP it OFF. I think you will enjoy the people here. I do.

 Food is for sissies. REAL women exist on skim milk, protein powder, broth and air.....

Thanks so much, everyone! I'm really glad that I found this message board -- I already feel a better sense of "You are not alone in this"

I'm taking it one day at a time. Yesterday I discovered the "Health Tracker" option here on our profiles. WOW -- what an eye opener!! There I was, thinking that I was eating "well" yesterday and when I put it all into the tracker I was in for an eye opening experience!! I eat wayyyyyyy too many carbs and fats that I have NO clue about!!! NO WONDER I have a problem!!!!

Today has been better... I'm keeping up with my health tracker (and playing around with different options) and planned out my menu for the week. One step at a time... it took alot of "bad steps" for me to get where I am, and it will take alot of "good steps" for me to get out of it.
