Last week I was a C cup... now
Soooo annoyed. I went in for a bra fitting at Cacique (Lane Bryant offshoot) about four weeks ago. Bought two bras -- 42C -- with a plunge front (never again!). I guess they're fine if you never bend over to do anything. But I could be driving down the freeway, lean forward to change the radio station, and out pops one of the girls.
Anyway, I figured it was the plunge thing. So, I took myself to WalMart two weeks ago and bought two Just My Size bras in the same size. They fit great when I tried them on at home. I could bend over without any issues.
NOW.... things are flopping out all over. I guess my weight loss this past two weeks has been totally confined to boobage.
Sigh. I haven't been a B since I was 10-years-old.
In fifth grade, I had better boobs than anyone and I was the envy of the girls in my class. Only they all grew up and out and my little boobettes stayed the same.
So a nice 42B sounds pretty good actually.
I love these smiley guys.
After I posted my whining session about dropping a cup size, I discovered I had on one of the old bras I thought I'd thrown away. It's the same color and style of one of the new ones I bought. Evidently, my hubbie found it and threw it in with the laundry he was doing. After the post, my holiday interrupted my OH habit and I'm just now getting back on here.
So, now you can all think I'm some kind of nut case.
Back to our regularly scheduled programming...
It's funny. I'm missing what I've lost so far. I worry about what I'm going to lose eventually. Right now they look appropriate for the size of my upper torso.
But my mom --- get this:
She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003 (I don't know what stage, but it was super early). Kaiser wanted to do a lumpectomy. She told them to take it off completely and take the other one off just in case. Kaiser wouldn't go for the double mastectomy, but they took off her right breast. I think my mom just hates her breasts. She was maybe an E or F. Kaiser wouldn't do reconstructive surgery on such an old person, so she only has one now. AND SHE WON'T WEAR HER FALSIE OR EVEN A BRA.
When she was 14 she was on a semi-pro softball team in Chicago. She had to quit because she got too big up top. Then when she was having her babies they gave her some drug (you can't get anymore) that caused them to stay the swelled-up-lactating-size forever.
