i don't weigh   all the  time   i don.t own  a  scale i am  obessive  i when i go to the dr most of the time  and try to weigh  on the same scale   my starting  weight-330   on 3-18-09   weight0n my skin birthday  11-03-09    227lbs
Hello everyone, my surgery date is March the 18th. I'm having a RNY and i'm scared but excited. I would like to know how many people are schedueled for this date. I stay near Houston Texas. My Dr. is Dr. Gomez\ UTMB hospital. Someone PLEASE give me some pointers.

I'd probably be better off if I didn't weigh almost everyday.

I weigh Tuesdays, so today I did that.

 I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY!  Working on the next 25.  Then I'll tackle more...

My weigh in day is Wed.
I refuse to get a scale at home, yet. Afraid I'll start obsessing over it. I work in the same hospital as my surgeon's office, so I run up there and weigh once a week. It's hard to resist, but I won't let myself go in there more than once a week.
Highest weight=456
surgery weight=392
today=344

It's been 51 days since my RNY and I've lost 48 lbs. post op. That's almost a pound a day! I know it will slow down eventually, but I'm really happy right now.
