Happy Monday!!! 

Starting Weight: 388
Last Week: 276
Today: 275 (But I was 273 on Saturday! )

Well, we got our first bad freeze today. It was 27 when I got up this morning.

I relocated two cactuses into the house yesterday -- I hope the rest make it. Now I just need to keep the 3-year-old's fingers away from the glochids (teeny spines on the cactus). I'll probably put my hand into one of them by accident dropping the toothpaste (one is in my bathroom).

Anyway, have two weigh ins and doctors appointments tomorrow (surgeon) and Friday (endocrinologist), respectively. I'm hoping my appointments go okay. Going to try to minimize carbs today. My mantra for today will be: "NO BAD CARBS! NO BAD CARBS!" Maybe no salt either!

So frustrating. I'm only about 2.5 weeks out from surgery. I started mushies last Thursday and over the course of the week actually GAINED about a pound. On Saturday I was actually down a whole pound from Monday but today I'm up almost a pound from yesterday. What a way to bounce.

How in the heck I actually gained while only taking in about 600 cals per day and walking briskly for 45 mins to 1 hour all but one day last week is beyond me. Some one posted something similiar on the main board and they got an explanation of glucagon stores burning off and rebuilding which seemed plausible.

I will not sweat it, however, as I KNOW the weight must come off given the huge calorie deficit I am running. I will be patient.

Start weight: 322
Last week: 291.6
Today: 291.4

I know it's soooo frustrating. But you know about the glycogen thing.

Try on some smaller clothes -- you may be surprised!

Hi everyone,

Starting weight: 378
LW: 305
Today: 301.  At first it was 299, then I got off and on again and it went to 301. 

I need to start walking everyday. I keep saying that, but don't do it.  I really need to make it a priority like the protein and vits.  So hard sometimes.

I'm starting to obsess...this happened before too.  I have to stop weighing for a while.  I put the scale down in the garage.  I was on it 4x a day!  That's not healthy.  Last I checked I was 215.5.

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I  lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!

I don't remember my last reported weight, but this AM was 377. I'm creeping back up - GACK.

Sleeping too much, isolating and depressed.

MUST make calling a surgeon's office a priority.
