Here we go again with scale watching..

Got my letter today from the insurance company.. I am approved but when I go in on Monday I have to weigh again and that weight be reported to the insurance.. I can not have gained not 1 lb or they will take back the approval...that is so unfair.. doctors scales may not be the same reading..

So here I go again.. not eating anything before Monday and then I am on liquid diet anyway after Monday.. so why not start now..

please keep me in your prayers that the surgeons office scale does not weigh me heavier than the PCP scale..

I really hate insurance companies and how they treat people..

I am trying to not let this take the excitement out of the approval and surgery date.. It is going to happen.. I am not going to let the insurance company win.

I started full liquids yesterday.. the scale shows 1 whole lb difference.. I only have today left to get the weight below 240 on my scale..

I told my friend who will be at the doctors office tomorrow that if she hears a scream it will be the nurses when I strip to my birthday suit on the scale if it reads high.. lol

I have to have faith that it will all wrok out just fine.

 ugh that is so bogus!!! when i have a few appts at docs, nuts, psych all in same hospital on same day.. every scale in there varies -2 to +4 lbs difference.... how can they seriously be so closed minded..GRRRR  all scales weigh us differently.... good luck i will keep u in my prayers...  effing insurance paper work is the worst!! hugs 

Peggy you have followed me through all this mess for a long time.. You know everytime they have thrown me a road block.. well I am going to get past this one too.. I am going to think positive and a liquid diet is the only thing I can do to make it happen.. thanks for keeping me in your prayers.. I think I am going to need them..

lol Patti.... I think before I got it all off they would say forget it we will put down the 238 just put your clothes back on....haha...  hey maybe not a bad idea..   lol

Teresa, have you thought of taking a bottle of mag citrate tonight?  I would do that.  The liquid diet plus the mag citrate should do it.  Good luck!

i will be  praying for  you.  i did  not have to do a  6 month diet   but i  noticed one time i visited  3 drs in one day and all the scales   they  did not know i was a nurse  when  i saw the physican i told them  about the scale  not being balanced make sure  that scale is  balanced   then  if you gained  a pound  you can  have  heredity  hypertinson on  the  day of surg  my bp  was  260-200  i spoke up for myself   i told  the  physican  i would die  if iwas sent home later that day 5hrs  my bp  was100-70  i toke a chance  on my GOD  PRAY AND LEAVE THE  RESULTS TO GOD  YOU ARE RIGHT  START  THAT  LIQUID  NOW  THATS THE BEGINNING OF A NEW LIFE  I WENT FROM  A SIZE34 TO A 20 AND  THEY  FALL OFF OF ME  I NEED CLOTHES  OLD OR NEW
