Im Approved and I have a surgery date.

The Weight Loss Center in St Louis called this morning.. I'm approved for surgery and they are setting up my surgery for the 23rd.. Wow this was really fast..  I expected to have to wait 2 weeks ..  I am so excited, I can't believe it , it took 5 years to hear those words..

I will probably get all of the remaining testing done Monday morning and then see the surgeon and then see the Nut and do a week of liquids and then it will be here.. So the next thing will be this coming Monday the 16th surgeons office visit..

Doing the happy dance for you! Congrats on getting approval and a surgery date at the same time!!

ISNT THAT COOL... TO WAKE UP TO SUCH GOOD NEWS..... AND ON FRIDAY THE 13TH TOO..

I AM DOING THAT HAPPY DANCE TOO..

I am more than excited.. I cant seem to stay off the phone or the computer.. I have emailed all my family or called them..   it feels like I am anouncing the birth of a child or something.. I am that excited.. Well it is a birth.. a rebirth for me.. lol....

I can hardle believe this is real.. I keep thinking I am going to wake up and it all be a dream..

if it is , its a good one..

I am dancing with my dog every few minutes.. I will sure get my exercise today.. 

Boy - that is going to come up quick!!!   I was glad my surgery date was only 3 weeks when I got it - the time flew by!!!  Congrats for hanging in there!

Hanging in there has not been easy.. I have hit so many snags that most people might have been tempted to just give up.. With the support of everyone on OH I have been fighting for 5 years.. I could not have done it without OH..

people like you have really helped me a long the way..

I have not doubt that you would make it.  You are such a good friend and I know how determined and strong you are once you set you mind to do something. I couldn't have got thru my surgery without you cheering me on and keep telling me, sip, protein, calcium, etc.  I love you for that.  
I couldn't be happier for you.  I will see you Monday at the doctor's office.

I am so glad I could be there thru your surgery for you.. yes I can be a little pushy when I have to be.,    lol..... sip sip sip.. and protein protein protein.. and trying to help you find the one you might like.. I was happy to do it.. I was as excited about your surgery as I was mine.. I had to wait but at least I got to see you get yours right away.. Your surgery moved fast too once you got the appt with Richardson..  Mine is going fast now too.. I am so glad God lead us in this direction...

Hope I do see you on Monday.. I have an appt at 12:30 for blood work then I dont have to be at Richardsons until 1:45... We might go grab a bite for lunch during that break time.. I remember the day you sat there and didnt have anything to eat and your blood sugar got too low.. I dont want that to happen so I will try to eat in between if I can.. I have tests all morning starting at 10am.. pulmonary, then ekg, then chest xray, and finally blood work.. I will try to see you if I can..
If for some reason we miss each other I am planning on going to the support meeting on Thursday.. gotta see what we can eat for the holidays.. Ill be on liquid that week..darn I wont get to taste the chefs cooking.. oh well I will have to live thru you again.. you will have to tell me how it tastes.. I think you can,, we have described enough protein tastes and vitamin tastes.. lol

Sorry I missed your call earlier,, mom was here.. we have been cleaning house to get things done before surgery.. cleaning my stove and oven...doing laundery like rugs and I had a load of baby clothes to do too.. trying to get all my ebay stuff put up too.. I am going to have to put selling on hold for now.... I have to concentrate on me now...... I did it.. I sold over a $1000.00 in the past 30 days.. not counting what I sold before that.. yippee.. makes me feel better to not have to worry about money now.. I will try to call you tomorrow.. it is too late now to call anyone.. but never too late to write online..  haha...
