ok so now that i have lost some weight, i have been doing everything possible to gain some kinda healthy lifestyle including having my whole body and mind examined...  so been seeing PCP, Psych, and a few specialist.. well today i was scheduled for a MRI to check for brain anurisms... that could be caused by the particular genetic kidney disease (congenital bilateral Polycystic kidney disease) that i was recently diagnosed with...soo im sure u know my worries of even being able to fit into the machine.. BUT!!!! i fit... with some room to spare... last yr my shoulders wouldnt of even made it... let alone half of me.... which did today... was in there to my hips.. an had wiggle room.. even tho i had to lay completely still... i so wanted to wiggle just cuz i could... silly huh? lol  now im not as selfconscious bout the cat scan i have to go for on dec. 8th knowing i can actually fit in the machine...  crazy how nervous i was till i got there an fit.... then if it weren't for the noise (jackhammering sound) i coulda fallen asleep in there i was that relaxed an content.. insane how good it feels just to be able to have routine tests done that others over look.. or neglect to have.. out of lazyness etc... an we have had to put off for so long because of our size... *wiggles*  just wanted to share with u all........ few of my NSV's

Walking all over HUGE hospital and in circles... DONE
Being able to fit in regulation medical test equipment... DONE!
Fitting in any kinda waiting room chairs with room to spare... DONE
Walking past cafaterias without "HAVING" to stop for anything!! DONE

What lovely NSV's. Sounds like you are finding FREEDOM in your new smaller body. This is wonderful. Good luck with all your tests and counselling. I sense your deep seated joy and  pride. CONGRATULATIONS.

These are great NSVs!!  It's why we got through the surgery -- to be more normal.
