Hi Patti! Thanks for getting us started. I'm just not an early AM person.

I weighed yesterday AM and again this AM. A diff of 7 lbs. Makes not sense - I'm gonna use the Sunday weight.

Start - 450
LW - 369
TW - 367 -2

Oh! I also discovered that the scale at me health club weighs about 7 lbs lighter than home. If I weigh there, I show as 360. That was the 1st scale I was able to weigh on....

I can tell you from my experience that I have a water retention issue every month but end up getting rewarded with a nice couple pound drop overnight.  It was the same for me prior to surgery so I have learned to expect it every month and don't stress even if the scale goes up a bit.
As far as a stall we all hit them from time to time throughout this process and the weightloss does tend to start slowing at the 6 month point.

Start: 475
Day of Surgery:  393
Last week:  288
This week: 285

Keep going everyone.  It is not a race but a journey!

Hi to all my new BMIOFF friends . I'm off today, tired from working all weekend. I've been lounging around in sweats all day, waiting for a break in the constant downpour so I can walk/jog with my dogs. They are going stir-crazy. We regularly walk in the usual misty light rain that happens 9 months of the year here but I just cannot do it in drenching rain. So, I will dust off my treadmill, soon!!! I had to be home today for the furnace guy and the guys who are fixing the damaged dining room ceiling from our tub leak upstairs. I' m feeling a little down. The scale has not moved for a month. I won't call it the dreaded "S" word. My weight loss graph would probably look like a staircase: steady for weeks, big loss, then steady, then big loss. I dumped today after eating a 100 cal. skinny cow ice cream bar! I have had them before and didn't dump before. Maybe it was watching Oprah eat fried butter and fried peaches at the Texas State Fair. Yeah, I'll blame it on Oprah!!! Anyways, here goes:

High Weight 338+(highest recorded weight)
Surgery Weight 299
Today's Weight 188

Have a great evening everyone!

Hi! I'm, um, pre-op - I guess. It doesn't count if the surgery didn't actually work, right. :p

High Weight: 385
Current: 362

I lost 5 pounds last week which was just through sheer torture of my poor body and the failed RNY.

BMI: 55.2/46.6/25 (Start/Current/Goal)

I love reading everyones post for the Monday Weigh In...lose, gain, or stall..everyone has something I can use.  Thanks everyone for sharing something that before we all know we wouldnt post on a website!!!  It's the funniest thing...now I kinda like telling people how much I weighed, and how much I weigh now.  Before this journey started, I would have NEVER told anyone that I weighed 423lbs.

Highest Weight: 423

Surgery Weight: 292 lbs. BMI 52.

Today's Weigh-In: 140 lbs. Jump back! I'm a sexy former fat lady!

Hurray to all of us for being accountable for our weights! Stalls are normal and happen to everyone, Patty--just keep plugging along and the results will follow. You are doing so great!!

Don't forget, folks--once you get there, maintenance is for life.
