2 NSV's that only we'd understand...

I've almost lost 50lbs now and I had 2 NSV's yesterday that I knew only the 50+ would appreciate.
First one: I sat in a real fold up lawn chair and it didn't pinch my hips so bad that I thought I'd burst the chair in half! It felt somewhat sturdy and I was comfortable!!!!! I still fear those flimsy white plastic ones, but I concoured this one and it feels good!!!

Second one: I jumped on a large trampoline!!! We bought our daughter a large trampoline for her birthday. Last night I climbed on it carefully and just laid on it to see how it would do. No issues, so I stood on it, no issues. THEN, I jumped on it and all was great! I got a great workout!

That's fast progress!   I can't wait to not worry about seating whenever I go somewhere.

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY!  Working on the next 25.  Then I'll tackle more...

Congradulations on the lawn chair and trampoline sounds like your having fun. I'm not to sure what you ment by the NSV's?

NSV is non scale vicotory, right?

These are amazing victories. Chairs and seating in general are the source of MUCH embarrassment and shame to those of us here. It would be lovely just to plop down on whatever is there. CONGRATULATIONS.

And the jumping on the trampoline one is even cooler. I see FREEDOM in your future: freedom to do many things you haven't done in a while.

Thank you everyone! Yes, NSV is non scale victory. There are so many other things to celebrate besides the number the scale reads.
I agree on the freedom, so far it's small things, but I can't wait to ride a horse, go on an amusement park ride, and ride a bike. I want that freedom. We can do it!

Congratulations..   I know you must be very proud of those victories.. I have oversize lawn chairs I purchased especially to hold my weight but when I go places I am terrified to try to sit on anyone elses lawn chairs.. I know you must be smiling from ear to ear.. I would be.. I cant wait until I get there too..

I am happy for you with the trampoline too.. that sounds like a really fun way t get some exercise.. Just be careful.. we dont want any accidents to get int the way of your journey.. stay in the middle and dont over do it..
I have a back problem and could not even think of it but it really sounds like fun.. ENjoy and also enjoy the time you have with your daughter.. I jsut gave mine her birtday card and she is 30... my how time flies.. I wish I had it all back so I could have done things like that with her.. You cherish this time.. It goes by fast..

hugs and congrats..
