Pre op visit, operation on Monday

Alright, I had my pre op visit, and everything is a go. I have lost 60 lbs and have exeted the forest, and in threedom! I offically weighed in at 396 lbs this afternoon. My appointment was short and sweet, my doctor expects that I will do very well post op. he called my weight loss simply amazing. He even said that he just had to ask how I did it because no one loses 60lbs in under three months pre op. Well I'm also on day 5 of my pre op diet and feel awsome, not even hungry like i thought i would be by now. Well Ill be on and off over the next few days watching peoples post as normal. Hope everyone is doing well, and praying that God blesses you many times over!

Congratulations! I also lost 60lbs before my surgery but I took 5 months to do it! I'm 3 weeks out and what they say is true.....90% of this journey is mental. And it seems like you are ahead of the train and will do great. I'll be praying for you, for a smooth surgery and fast recovery!

Melissa,   I'm glad you had a good pre-op.  Are you having open or lap RNY???  My surgery case was 2nd for the day on Tuesday but I heard today I got moved up to the first case.  YIPPEE.  Although I feel very sorry for the person that was to be before me. I'm not sure why they cancelled.   My prayers and blessings will be with you on Monday!!!!  Laura McD

Thanks everyone for your love and support. I am indeed having an open RNY By pass done my Rajan Nair. I will be in the hospital from monday the 12 tell tursday the 15th.My operation start time is 7:30 am. Thanks larua, Good luck to you too, ill be praying my butt off for you while im awake. ill see you, maybe litterly on the losers bench.
