I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for a workout video that is suitable for a high BMI??

Its too hard to do regular videos where people can easily get on the floor and back up quickly. Let me know what you would recommend ....

The Leslie Sansone walking videos are very good for beginners. Start with the one mile video. Just do as much as you can. I could only do a few minutes at first, but quickly worked up to the 2 and 3
mile ones. There are no complicated moves or floor work, and Leslie is very upbeat. She uses real people in her videos, which is nice. I always feel energized instead of exhausted after her videos.
You can get her videos at Walmart or Target. Good luck to you!

I would check out beachbody.com thats an excellent website for beginners to advanced. If u like to dance hiphopabs is a great workout. My knees are bad and its fun and I always want more. Hope this helps. Also since I recently lost 37lbs Zumba is also good as well.

Amazon has some DVD's on chair exercises or chair yoga. I think I'm going to purchase a recumbent bike as this is the equipment I can use at the gym. I have bad knees and the recumbent bike makes me a little short of breath, but I can still read a magazine.  I need something that I can use before work and after work and on the weekends! Hopefully after more weight loss, I can add walking longer distances.
