Teresa....your husband sounds like mine. We've been married almost 37 years, together for 42 and there's no way I could have done this without him. He's lost 30 lbs since I started the 6 mo diet because he's been determined to follow any and every requirement I had. Since surgery he's been so careful about what/where he eats, he even sprays room freshener around the kitchen after he fixes his breakfast and lunch so I don't have to smell the food when I get up! He's worked so much overtime to save the money we need, done without and has never complained about anything! My main reason for this surgery is to get healthy so we can have the life we planned when we were young. Too many years have passed, too many things I couldn't do so he didn't do them either. He's my hero.

Congratulations on your loss so far. You CAN do this! Change up your meal routines. Add some calories, quite a few! You have to convince your brain that you are going to start feeding it again and it will start burning those calories again. I learned how to avoid stalls in all my years of dieting. One way I did that was not to stick to a rigid DAILY calorie intake but do it WEEKLY. One day I may have 1200 calories, the next I'd have 800 then 1000 the next....as long as by the end of the week all the calories combined added up to what the weekly requiremnt was. I had the highest losses when I'd fall off the wagon on a weekend and have things like fried shrimp and stuffed baked potatoes! Doing this, I didn't have a single stall during my 6mo insurance required diet.

And they say there are no good men out there... Maybe it is just that they are all taken.. Sounds like you and I have two of them.. That's funny that he does that after cooking breakfast.. When my hubby is home he loves breakfast. He will set the alarm early and get up and cook it for him self and eat it and then wash the dishes up he used and spray the air freshener.. sounds like they planned it together don't it.. that is such a coincidence ////  Yes I have kept him from doing so many things.. he loves to play tennis and bike ride and hike in the woods.. no tennis for many many years.. the bikes have hung so long the tires are dry rotted.. He says the activities are not fun without me.. He does go out in the woods but only during hunting season.. We eat what he gets and it helps our food bills.. We both love venison, and it is very low fat.. Yep my hubby and yours sound so much alike.. I am happy for you that yours is as supportive as mine..

I am going to try to change things and maybe not be as strict on the diet and try to fool my body that I am going to eat so it starts to make the metabolism work faster.. last night my mother brought me homemade spaghetti and garlic bread.. I did not eat the garlic bread.. I don't do breads.. but I did eat the spaghetti.. It was so good. She cooks for the church on Wednesday nights and she made this for the church and brought me a small amount.. It was so bad but tasted so good.. lol... I didn't weigh this morning.. I am going to do the regular routine again today and see if I can get this plateau to break.. Mom had the same idea of eating chicken on several days and then throwing in beef one day.. maybe this will work.. I hope so.. I wanted to get on the scale so bad this morning. But I am going to give it a few days.. I go back to the PCP next Thursday for a weigh in again..  I will cry if I gain doing this.. but I have to try something..
thank you for your advice.. and for letting me know that there are others out there as great as my hubby is.. God has truly blessed us.. with the support at home and here too we will make it..
