We haven't posted this in a while but weekends can be tough, so I'm going to revive this post.

Here's my menu plan for the day:

B: Chocolate Max Protein, coffee
L: Ricotta pie, zucchini & tomatoes
S: Simply Jif on half a Sandwich Thin
S: string cheese (post-workout protein boost)
D: Going to Famous Dave's BBQ so I'm planning to have brisket, beans, and salad
S: SF pudding cup

For exercise, I'm going to do 40 minutes of elliptical (or more), then 20 minutes of strength training.

What are you eating today?  And what are you doing to get moving?

There's no chair Zumba, but I know that they're now coming up with Aqua Zumba, which I'd love to try eventually.  You don't have to be in tip-top shape to Zumba, you just have to love to dance (which I do!).  I started it when I was 325 and didn't have problems -- sometimes I had to modify the steps a little, but as long as I kept moving, I figured I was fine.  The one BIG word of caution I have is to make sure you have sneakers with very little tread so you don't torque a knee or ankle. Once I was sure I loved it, I bought dance sneakers, and they work very well for Zumba.

Here is Sunday's plan:

B: Chocolate Max Protein, coffee
S: PB on half a sandwich thin
L: Brisket, small salad, beans (leftover from Famous Dave's last night)
S: cheese, vegetables (appetizers from a b-day party I'm going to later for my sis)
D: filet mignon, salad, vegetables
S: sweet ricotta pie (bringing my own dessert to the party)

Exercise will be one hour of Zumba later this morning.

Come on, join in the fun -- What are YOU eating & doing today???

Picking pears sounds fun! Can you send some to me?  ;-)  I have some sharp cheddar that would be perfect with pears!

Oh and I'm going to start counting my housework in for my activity too -- fabulous idea!

Oregon is awesome for fruit. No surprise Harry & Davids is located here.

PM me your addy and I'll send you a small box just for fun.

But you get real honest to gawd Jersey tomaters. Lately I've fallen for grape tomatoes for the sugar but I love Rutgers too.

I count my housework because it helps motivate me to get it done instead of ignore it.

OK, now I really am off to the pool. Whiltes are in. I spilled spray & wash & DH said the laundry area smelled like a bowling alley. I looked blank and he said - "you know, the stuff they spray ont eh shoes." I think I need more exciting smelling laundry products.

Thank you so much, that is so sweet of you to offer!  The Jersey tomaters are sadly all gone but next July, I will send you some. They are just amazing.  I really do miss them!
