its gonna take forever!

I just called about Dotcors hospital and we went to the seminar and EVERYTHING then come to find out they DONT EXEPT medicaid! And thats what insurance I have! BUT I did call Trinity Hospital of AUgusta and they DO except medicaid and NOW Im on a 6 to 8 month waiting list! MAN! I am glad but at the same time upset becasue its gonna take SO LONG! Anyone else have the same experience?

Well 6-8 months is not so bad really. You can use that time to start your pre op diet and any exercise you can do. My medical plan had me go on a 6 month dr supervised diet before they would approve. I started that in March and ended up having my surgery in Dec, so I actually had to wait longer than you. Use this time to prepare yourself for the surgery!

I have medicaid star-plus superior and just found out yesterday it is a 6 month Dr. supervised wait. I origanally thought it was a year so I was happy to find out it is only 6 months. I start my count down Oct. 2nd

YALL! GUESS WHAT! The lady from Trinity hospital called me today and said if I go to the seminar Thursday (AND I WILL) that I will be moved UP on the list!! I am on it now. Number ten on the list! It might only be 2 months or so!! AND Medicaid DOES cover it!! YES!!!!!! MAN I cant wait! Well I can but I am excited. It will happen eventually. Just not quiote sure exactly when yet. Thank GOD! God is so good! All the time! Well TTYL!
