Anyone started where I am at?
I started at 597, the day of surgery I was 540. My surgery was Lap. I woke up and was walking the same day. I am now down to 390 in 9 months!!! I was a little sore when i woke up if I hit my stitches, but besides that, childbirth was much worse lol I didn't even use the morphine pump. My dr thought the surgery would take about 3 hrs, they were done in an hour and a half. I had been on a diet for 9 months at that point and didn't have a fatty liver or anything. he was so surprised You are going to be just fine! Best of luck to you!!!
When I started my journey I weighed 439. At my heighest recorded weight I weighed 456.
On the day of surgery I was down to 418.
I had a difficult surgery bc I had to have my gallbladder out and a hernia repair too -- all emergency. Everything was LAPRSCOPIC. It can be done at higher weights. My surgeon is a pro at it.
I was at 412 when I weighed on Tuesday!

Thanks to everyone that replied. All I remember is being in WW and watching people hit goal within months... and taking 3 years to lose 75 pounds. I see so many "lightweights" in here- NOT TO BELITTLE ANYONE'S JOURNEY- but I really wanted to connect with people I could relate to more, if that makes any sense?
