A new lesson learned!
Ok so about ten days ago I took a relative to the doctors, and while I was waiting I decided to weigh myself. This is mostly because I hadent weighed in over a week. Anywho, it said 420! It said I had gained 2 lbs, I was so upset, I felt like I had let my family and myself down. So this morning I decided to go to my own doctors office to see if I had atleast lost those two lbs. But honestly I had expected to had gained another lb or something. Well this is were the lesson comes in, I had lost 10lbs sence the two weeks prior when I had weighed in at my docs office. (Never weigh at a strange scale they lie!) I am now 408 lbs, one lb from my docs pre op goal. And two lbs from losing 50 lbs sense I started my diet july 15th. I have also lost nearly 7 bmi points, I am so excited my nurse told me she hopes to have me on the schedule for october pending one more text on the 30th! So please pray that this test comes out alright and that I will soon be on the losers bench too!
Thanks and God bless,
Melissa

Woo Hoo. Congratulations on being close to getting a date. I will send you good vibes for the test turning out fine. I was SURE I had gained tons of weight this weekend (due to some dietary indiscretions.....) but I was good. I'm 9 lbs to submitting to insurance. We're just freaking amazing, aren't we???
Congratulations on being so close! You go!
On scales, yah, I totally agree that it's best to consider just one as your official scale, otherwise the variations make you nuts. Even within my PCP's office, where they have several scales, the weights vary. So I have an entry in their charts of having lost 13 lbs in 2 days. Too funny.
