Monday Weigh In - How are you doing?

Posting this to get the thread started.  I overslept this morning so can't weigh myself until later. I was down a pound at the gym on Wed., but hope for more. Let us know how you are doing.

I was pretty good with my eating all week except yesterday. I had to take Imitrex shots for migraines Fri, Sat and Sun. By Sunday I was so tired of the headaches, I ate "buttered" toast - 6 pieces over the day, 2 sourdough crusts, 4 whole wheat. I don't know why, but this always seems to help. By 9 PM the headache was gone, but the carbs will probably  stick.

Updated 6:40 PM - Either the bread is sticking with me or else I differ that much during the day. Oh, well, maybe next week.

Oh yeah, and salt. I had 2 Clausen dill pickle havles yesterday.

I don't mind a gain so much if I can explain why (and it s/b temporary).

Did good all week, most days i got in all my protein an water and been working out 6 days a week 45mins a day either riding recumbent bike or walking.. i think im not getting in enough calories cuz it seems like weeks when i think im eating too much. i lose more weight... an when im just barely getting in my protein in i gain..  how strange it is to have a backwards dilema of what my life used to be...

That's so frustrating, but the loss will show up eventually. Maybe you do need to eat more. Are you drinking plenty of water and other fluids>

I also saw an interesting article last week on sleep and weight loss. Your body needs the sleep to break down the fat (my version). Here's the whole article.

I was realllly bad about my water this weekend. And I should have skipped some of the salt as well: I was up a few this morning.

I did my bike for 40 minutes -- I kept it up above 15 mph the whole time. Maybe tomorrow I'll put my heart rate monitor on and go for a walk in sweats.

It was a deeelightful 52 degrees this morning when I woke up -- I so hope fall is really here. (It was 100 last Friday afternoon when I took my kid out to see the Space Shuttle land.)

We had a few 100 degree days this summer too, but you surely get lots more. I don't think I'd leave the AC in your climate!

Doesn't the fall tinge in the weather make you want to get out and walk? You go!

I was sick most of the weekend.  Started a new mutivitamin and it didnt agree with me at all.  So I didnt eat or drink like I should have.  But I'm better today and have gotten back on track, excpet for the exercising.  I havent been doing that.  I know I know..I need to, and I will.  I'm joining curves this week.
So heres the numbers:

I'm such a wimp about falling out of my exercise routine, esp if I'm sick. Good job job having a plan to get that starting up again.

So are you gonna weigh every day for that magic moment? Or wait til next week?

I'd probably check hourly.

Although I know that I shouldnt, I weigh daily.  And it varies by about 3 lbs on a daily basis.  So I wont say I'm under 300 till the scale says about 297 or under on a consistant basis.  When I weighed this morning, it said 299....but then I weighed just a little while ago and it said 301...so I wont celebrate till it says at least 297.
Wierd I know, and I know I shouldnt be weighing everyday, but I just cant help it.  It's like crack..LOL

 I weigh everyday.  Once in the am and once in the pm.  I have since before surgery.  I believe it keeps me on track.
