2x vs. 3x

Went to Target all happy about losing so much weight and FINALLY being able to buy inexpensive clothes at a "regular" store...well, silly me, I "thought" they carried 3x's.  Well, they only go up to 2x.  How frustrating!!! Now I have to go back to the "fat store" and buy expensive clothes until I lose more.

Don't be discouraged. Think about all the progress you have made and in no time you will be shopping anywhere you want.

That might be true, but think about it this way.  You can go to the fat store, and not have to look for the largest sizes...you have more of a choice!

Target carries up to a 4X.

They must've just been out.

I buy stuff there all the time. They go up to a 28-30.

Apparently it's a popular size.

Didn't want you to feel discouraged. I buy pre-op clothes there all the time... at 420 pounds!

Hey don't be discouraged i would love to be in a 3x. I think a lot of people would agree that are still waiting to have surgery. As a matter of fact if I was a 3x I wouldn't have surgery lol. Anyways try walmart they are reasonable and they go past 3x.
If your in good health and feel good don't sweat the small stuff.

I buy 3X at Target too and Walmart has them (if you shop there and I do). I think most places that have 2X also have 3X. 4X is harder to find at a regular store. Are you sure you were in the plus size area and not the regular area that goes up to XXL?

Do you buy clothes online? I use Woman Within and the quality varies, but it's cheap.

I think Wal-Mart has up to 3x, or used to.

I buy ALL my clothes online, but I make some of my skirts. Shopping in person wears me out still.

Now that I'm changing sizes again, I'm trying to shop in my closet! I freecycled a bunch of clothes a few years back, so what's left is mostly stuff I really liked.

I did buy a bunch of smaller tank tops to wear under bigshirts - I got them on sale at woman within. They arrived Wednesday along with 2 new bathing suits (also on sale), but I think I ordered the wrong size! The new ones are 4X and a tiny bit big now. Hope they will shrink in the dryer! I may send back the ones I haven't worn...

But think of it this way - even if they do only carry up to 2X - you are only ONE SIZE AWAY!!!  That's awesome!!

You all are lucky that your Target carries 3 and 4x's.  The one near me doesn't. 

I'll try Wal-Mart.

As far as online, those sites are expensive. 

Hopefully, it won't be long until I can get into 2x's.

You can order from Target online. And Wal-Mart has up to size 28 or 30 in stores.
